Gardening at EAE<\/h4>\n

Together, we\u2019ll bring a small garden in the initial reception center for refugees back to life: removing dead plants and weeds, preparing the beds, and planting edible peas as well as insect-friendly flowers and sunflowers. We\u2019ll also clean up the area, collect stones (which can later be painted by children), clean the sandbox, and reuse old tires for planting. The goal is to create a lively, clean, and shared green space. Help us transform the garden into a blooming place for people and nature!<\/b><\/p>\n

Sound the City<\/h4>\n

Give a voice to what matters.<\/p>\n

Sound the City is a collaborative music project where we will create an original song together using real studio gear, creativity, and conversations about a social issue affecting our city.<\/p>\n

No musical experience needed.<\/p>\n

This is not about performance. It\u2019s about expression, listening, and impact.
\nAcross three sessions, we\u2019ll turn ideas into beats, words into melodies, and collaboration into awareness.<\/p>\n

STC Cologne Social Gathering: Hiking around the Br\u00fchler Schlossg\u00e4rten.<\/b><\/h4>\n

We meet at\u00a0Br\u00fchl Schwardorf<\/a>\u00a0train station at 2 PM and begin our relaxed hike towards the Br\u00fchl Castles (UNESCO World Heritage Site).<\/div>\n
The route takes us through a pleasant landscape all the way to the historic castle complex in Br\u00fchl. Once there, participants can explore the spacious and beautifully maintained park grounds and enjoy the unique atmosphere.<\/div>\n
After arrival, anyone who wishes can grab something to eat or simply relax. The nearby Br\u00fchl train station offers a convenient option for the journey home.<\/div>\n

Baking Project<\/h4>\n

Join us to\u00a0bake cookies<\/b> that will be given out to\u00a0 homeless people by\u00a0Diakonie K\u00f6ln for different occasions. Help us to make dough, cutting out, baking, or packing.<\/p>\n

Creative Crafts for Ukrainian Women<\/h4>\n

Join us as we facilitate a time of creativity for Ukrainian Women. We will provide a special\/unique craft for these ladies to create. Volunteers will assist and invite the ladies into conversation.<\/p>\n

STC Cologne Social Gathering: Trash-Museum<\/h4>\n

The\u00a0\u00a0M\u00fcllseum K\u00f6ln – KRAKE e.V.<\/a>\u00a0collects trash from the Rhine and displays the most extraordinary finds in an artistic way. We want to see what kind of trash ends up in the Rhine, learn more about river pollution and the resulting impact on the oceans, and understand how our RheinCleanup campaigns contribute to cleaner waters! Afterward, we\u2019d like to spend some time together; depending on the weather, we\u2019ll either go to the nearby\u00a0Rheinpromenade K\u00f6ln-Deutz<\/a>\u00a0or the\u00a0Arkarden in Cologne<\/a>. If the weather is nice, feel free to bring games and other things to enjoy during our time in the park.<\/p>\n

Pick up Cigarette Butts<\/h4>\n

As part of the\u00a0RhineCleanup<\/a>\u00a0Cigarette\u00a0Butt<\/span>\u00a0Cleanup Week<\/a>, we will collect cigarette\u00a0butt<\/span>s together in the Inner Green Belt and around Ebertplatz. Cigarette\u00a0butt<\/span>s are one of the most common types of litter and pollute the environment with toxic substances and microplastics. We\u2019ll meet on site, and then collect together in small groups – we will bring all the equimpent. Help us make the city cleaner and take a stand against cigarette\u00a0butt<\/span>\u00a0pollution!<\/p>\n
